DokuFiles Privacy Policy

1. Controller and contact

The public controller responsible for DokuFiles is GriloxDev. For privacy questions, contact davidgrilomdev@gmail.com.

2. Data that stays on your device

DokuFiles does not require an account or use a proprietary backend. Preferences, tutorial status, completed cases, progress, achievements, game statistics and state needed to manage ad frequency are stored locally on your device.

GriloxDev does not receive this gameplay data through its own server. It remains until you reset progress, clear DokuFiles data in Android or uninstall the app.

3. Google Mobile Ads

DokuFiles uses Google Mobile Ads for interstitial advertising and optional rewarded ads. According to Google, the SDK may automatically collect or share IP address —which can infer general location—, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including the advertising identifier where applicable.

Google states that it uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention and encrypts it in transit. Processing and retention performed by Google are governed by Google policies.

4. Consent and privacy options

The app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and update your consent choices when required by law or Google configuration. DokuFiles checks whether ads can be requested before initializing advertising.

When UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, it appears in app settings so you can review or withdraw your choice.

5. Purposes and legal grounds

Local data is used to provide the game and remember preferences. Data handled by Google Mobile Ads is used to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and maintain security. Where consent is legally required for personalization, storage or identifiers, UMP manages that choice; other necessary processing may rely on providing the service or legitimate security and fraud-prevention interests, as applicable.

6. Support email

If you contact support, we process your email address, message and anything you voluntarily attach. We use it to respond, diagnose the issue and keep a reasonable support record. Do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive data.

Messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, protect the service and meet applicable obligations.

7. This website

dokufiles.griloxdev.com does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, forms or browser storage. The email link opens your chosen mail client and does not submit data to the website.

Hosting infrastructure may process basic technical logs such as IP, date, requested resource and security data to deliver and protect the website. Those logs depend on the hosting provider and are not used by DokuFiles to create advertising profiles.

8. Recipients and transfers

Google acts as the advertising provider and may process data in different countries using its legal transfer mechanisms. The email provider processes support messages, and the hosting provider may process technical logs. GriloxDev does not sell personal data.

9. Security

We limit first-party collection, avoid an unnecessary backend and use HTTPS for the website. Google states that data collected by its SDK is encrypted in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

DokuFiles is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not offer accounts or ask for names, ages or contact details inside the game. If you believe a child sent data by email, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object, restrict or port personal data and to withdraw consent. Contact davidgrilomdev@gmail.com. You can also manage the advertising identifier in Android and consent options in the app when available.

Because progress stays local and is not linked to a GriloxDev account, we may not hold a remote copy that can be located or provided.

12. Deletion

Delete progress with the in-app reset, by clearing DokuFiles data in Android settings or by uninstalling it. To delete support messages, request deletion by email unless retention is required by law or to resolve a dispute.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when DokuFiles, a provider or applicable law changes. The new effective date will appear here. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
